Need help

Hi !

We are an Italian family with 3 Children (7yo,1,1) and we are planning to move to south Lantau at the end of this school year (around July 2010).
At the moment we are living in Zhongshan city, Guandong and my son is attending P2 at a local school. He can speak english and mandarin at a good level and a basic cantonese.
I would prefer to keep him in a local school in order to develop his Chinese skill.
Can anyone let me know, what process should I follow in order to apply for the next school year (2010/2011) at the local primary school?

Any advise will be highly appreciate.

Where abouts in Lantau are you moving?

I would recommend Pui O Public School. My daugther attended for a number of years and it really helped her Chinese skills.

Thanks BB for your reply. Can you tel me which is the correct process to be followed in order to apply for the next school year at that school? Should I contact the school directly?

Sorry, can't remember. It was a few years ago now!

I suggest you contact the school (details here (http://www.lantauchat.com/showthread.php?t=29)) and arrange to meet up with the Headmistress Ms Yu.

She is very helpful and I am sure will explain all you need to know!
