I am Beijing based, American living in China for 10+ years and working professionally in the Chinese antique furniture industry for the past 6. Until recently, my business has been primarily wholesale exporting to wholesalers, retailers and collectors outside China. I collect, restore and build Chinese furniture and antiques and have even been featured on (CCTV) China Central Televison.
I am in Hong Kong from time to time and I usually stay on Lantau (I share a place at Chungsha) I would be interested in meeting up with expatriates / foreigners who are considering purchasing Chinese antiques and Chinese antique furniture for their homes and personal collections (or simply just have an interest in Chinese antiques and culture). This should be of special interest to anyone looking for nicer quality/more unique items, custom made items or anyone with a desire to avoid the exorbitant prices asked at Hong Kong's famed strip of art and antique outlets on Hollywood road. Actually, I have seen very little that's interesting along there or in Mui Wo...

My Hong Kong mobile (852-9750-9676) is usually on or if not try my China mobile (86-13051440767) or give me an email (rschwendeman @ hotmail.com)
By the way, have a look at my specialist blog on Chinese antiques at http://www.antique-chinese-furniture.com/blog/ if you want see the inner workings of the antiques industry.
