There'll be a slow-drive protest on Sunday against the slashing of the A35 service from 38 times daily to 10.
From Tony Tsang, vice-chairman of Mui Wo Rural Committee:
Since the Public consultation forum held last month, Transport Department and the NLB had decided not to cut the Airport Bus route A35 but instead they deeply cut the frequency from 38 times to 10 times per day. They posted the new schedule to public without any prior notification to the rural committees and district councillors at all.
Under such circumstances, we decided to make a Slow-drive demonstration starting from Tong Fuk To the Airport on Sunday. Details can be found at the attachment. All are welcome to join!
