Dear All,
DVC Neil Dunn has had to postpone the meeting on the 27th.
He passes on his apologies;
‘I feel very disappointed that I must ask for your understanding that I will
have to postpone the meeting.
My wife is expecting our second child in mid October, however the little
one is still sitting up and has yet to give any indication that she will
turn around and be ready for a normal delivery. My wife has made an
appointment to see our Doctor at noon on the 27th of September 2009, the
time when she was free and the doctor was available. We have some medical
decisions to make concerning the birth and I wish to be with my wife whilst
those decisions are being discussed and made.
The response has also been greater than I imagined and the small room at
Cheung Sha does not have the capacity to seat everyone. For those familiar
with Cheung Sha, a large tree fell down during the typhoon and the grass area
is no longer sheltered from the sun like it once was.
The fish pond has fallen into a state of disrepair and I am
still waiting for it to be made safe, as such I am advised that I should
not hold a function in the grass area until the fish pond has been made
safe.
This is only a postponement, I will be in touch later with a date,
hopefully at the end of October. Please let those know that you may have
asked to come with you, that the meeting has been postponed, but it will be
held later.
In the meantime, should anyone wish to contact me to discuss any matter over
the phone or meet individually please call on either of the numbers below
