I heard yesterday that construction work on 5 houses (of a batch of 20) is due to start soon in Shap Long.
Does anyone know if this is true?
Also that there are plans to widen the road from Ham Tin to Shap Long as part of a plan to enlarge the Chi Ma Wan detention centre.
Again - is this happening and if so does anyone know when?

Not that I am aware off. Where did you get the information from. As far as I know, that project received many objection, didn't it? Planning depart have to advise developement to reversed the plan before the approval.
Any information?

Hello Loy
I think that was for the 2 houses which they were proposing to build in green belt and had illegal tree clearing.
This was according to the contractor that was working on my house.

Is there construction site in preparation already? There should be an information display outside the site. If anyone can take a photo of that note: construction approval and project information...etc.. we can raise questions to Planning, Land, Island District and Road developements for explaination. If anyone in the government fuck up their job. The project will need to suspent and has to re-apply. Developer can sue Government. Or if anyone can prove there has no public note about this project, public has the right to procedure Justic Review to see who made a mistake on application adiministration. Big project like this should be asked to publicise on local newspaper. We can check where it went wrong.

5 houses (of a batch of 20)
20house will cause big damage to the local environment. There has no any pollution filtering facilitation in there area. Government is fucking up the place, the developer's investment and the people who lives there too.
